I've always been pursuing a dream...
SkyLife Productions is a production company founded by me, Lisa Murray. Who am I? Please. I'm still trying to figure that out. I work full-time at a film studio and I shoot the subjects of my documentary whenever I can. I blog about what it's like to work at a film studio (at least the parts I'm allowed to talk about!), the psychology of going for a dream while working full-time (don't get me started), and about something very near and dear to my heart, animal rescue. I am currently in production with my feature documentary, I HAVE DREAMS, DAMMIT!, a film about the pursuit of dreams.

My dinner guests just left and after changing and throwing my hair on top of my head, I had a quick thought I wanted to record. Don’t think when you go for your dreams, there won’t be problems because there will be. But if you think about it, there will be problems in your life whether you go for what you really want or not, right? So might as well go for what you want and expect the worse case scenario and just tell yourself you’ll find a way through it, no matter what it is. Face your monsters!

It’s never too late to start a dream, switch a dream, add to a dream, continue a dream, etc. As long as you are breathing, it isn’t too late!! GO FOR IT! You have so much to bring this world with your experiences, don’t silence your voice.

I got to hang out with songwriter/producer, Dapo Torimiro today during his studio session with new Def Jam artist, Khalil at the Boom Boom Room in Burbank, CA. Dapo is one of the subjects of my documentary, “I Have Dreams, Dammit!” a film about the realities of pursuing a dream.
