Synopsis

"I Have Dreams Dammit!" is a documentary about the pursuit of a dream. This film is produced and directed by Lisa Murray.

A winemaker, a political activist, an entreprenuer, a music artist, and a painter are some of the subjects in I Have Dreams Dammit!, a feature documentary about the pursuit of a dream. Seen through the eyes of a filmmaker who is living the double life of pursuing a dream while she is also paying the bills with her full-time job, I Have Dreams Dammit! is an intimate portrait of the fellow dreamers she meets along her path of manifesting her dream of becoming a full-time filmmaker.

Note from the filmmaker: I wanted to take the sappy, unreal, over-marketed idea of following a dream and present it in a REAL light. It's hard, it sucks, it's funny, it'll make you cry, it'll make you scream, and it'll almost kill you. BUT... people with a dream - people with a real, soul-wrentching dream - couldn't live the alternative. (NOT following their dream.) Why? What keeps them going? Where is this "dream" coming from?
